Helping a friend with his track car (sold)

Thought about putting this up on the classifieds but it is just as wrong there as it is here.
I have a friend that is battling cancer. One of the casualties of this battle is he will never be able to drive again. He has sold off all of his dailys but has a track car sitting. German but not of our ilk. 944 Porsche, super clean, fully caged. Would make an awesome d/e car, Luckey Dog or Champ racer and I am sure it might qualify in some PCA or vintage class. The car is for sale/ready to go for $8500. When I saw the pictures I thought it worth look and that someone would/will buy this car. He has recently started his third round of chemo so I thought I could help him sell his car and to be blunt, in the event he does not make it, not to burden his wife with doing this.
I mean no disrespect to this forum, the moderators and the fellow BMW enthusiasts whom I have shared and learned from over the years. This is just one of the things you do for someone if you can. If you are not interested please feel free to pass this on to any of your car friends as it only takes one. The car is in the Pinehurst area of North Carolina. The hardest part is getting the info out to perspective buyers. If you are interested I will put you in contact with Vince via his email as he is far better qualified to answer you questions.
You can reach out to me and I will do what ever I can to get you as much information but some days are better for him than others, but each is good!
I am also offering to deliver this car if that helps the sale in any way.

vince1.jpegA viewer of one of the ads pointed out that this roll cage my be a bolt in. It shows in another picture that I have of the door bars. This would change what use there is for the car. Doing the best I can getting the information out there. Thank you for the views! I will edit as I get pertinent information...

Thanks bud! The whole thing reads like a scam so needless to say I was thrilled when I got the news! Quite the sine wave of emotions though when I was informed later this evening that he was given 4 months, in November! Doesn't change anything in the long run but it reminds us to live every day to it's fullest as even a full life will be short when put into perspective. Again thanks to all for the support. Now pulling for some modern medicine magic!
