    Cant get tonneau cover fastened

Looking for some guidance/suggestions…. I always have a very difficult time putting my tonneau cover on my Z3M…. I’m able to get the two outer buttons fastens (the ones near the doors) however I can never get the inner two buttons fastened…. Even when I attempt to snap in the inner fasteners first…. I know there are instructions however they don’t seem to work for me….. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideally a video?... Because I must be doing something wrong……. Thanks in advance

I would just unscrew the tenax fasteners, take them out and spray a little silicone on them. Then snap them in and out a few times. Make sure they're not damaged also.

Z3'er, mine was the same issue. I unscrewed the male tenaxes from the backing. Then I could insert the cover with no issues. I've driven 80mph on the interstate and it doesn't move. I begin with one end; insert and fasten the tenax then insert around to the other side then insert the inner edge home. In cooler weather it stays in the house as it really stiffens kept in the trunk. My $.02.

You're never going to get the boot cover fastened with the wind deflector with your hardware. You need the longer Tenax screws with the plastic spacers. Wind deflector on first, then the boot cover.
