    Intake boot, silicone

Any one make the intake elbow for the 528i in silicone? I know it is just fine the plastic one, but I am getting rid of the whole air filter box and stuff for intercooler pipe routing, just keeping the factory MAF unit. I was going to use a modified e36 but it is 3" and the TB in the 528 is 3 1/2 and 45* (it looks like it has two butterfly units)

Also fixing the power steering lines that leak, do all the e39 have power steering coolers?

The E36 ones will fit but require deleting that ASC throttle body. It's a very rudimentary traction control system and limits intake air... Never seen a silicone option that keeps the ASC TB in place

Yes, i looked around. I will do the ASC-T delete and run regular e36. I was worried about the ABS light, but there is a mod for it, so the light doesnt show on the dash, but the ASC light will (which doesnt interfere with inspections)

Check with some of racer supply houses for silicone tubing. There may be a pre-made elbow in the appropriate size
I know the AFM is smaller dia. than the ASC throttle housing. The silicone hose will stretch quite a bit. I've used in mismatch situations with success.
