Replaced my convertible top on my -97 328i. These seals were riveted. Anybody used screws to put them back on since I haven't found a rivet gun narrow enough to rivet these back in place ...
All ideas welcome ...

Well...I had typed up a lengthy reply to you about what I did on my 2 convertibles. I had the same problem.
When I hit the reply button, this stupid forum had logged me out while I was typing the reply. When I logged back in it was gone. I'm not going to type it all over again...don't have the time and I probably won't try to do it in this forum. Don't know why it would do that while I'm actively typing a response to a question...VERY frustrating.
Long story short, you don't have to install the seals with the bars...just do the bars and the seals are pressed into some channels.
If you want to give me your email address, I try to explain in detail what I had to do because I couldn't use the OEM rivets.
PM sent, thank you

Ok, thanks. Give me a few days to get it typed up and sent. Today and tomorrow are completely booked for me.
Don't worry, I will get it to you. If by chance I haven't gotten it to you in a few days...just hit me up with a PM. ;-)
Once I get it done somehow I will post pics for sure. Thanks guys!
