    Re-manned from "big box" retailers are a crap shoot at best. Your only assurance is they will look nice. Often they are an assemblage of not quite worn out bits with a few of the cheapest available new parts. Built to a price to preserve a desired profit margin.
    Find the local parts house that caters to the import shops in your area and buy from them or use one of the reputable on-line sellers.

    A new Bosch cost me $250 for the wife's car. Had 80 k on it when the car was sold.
    I've recently installed a new, $150* aftermarket, TYC (Chinese "Bosch" knock off) on my '97. So far, so good a year later.
    V-8 uses a different unit so your prices may vary.
