I know a lot of people swear by it but as I get older I am less concerned about it and more focused on just being a better driver. I will shoot a picture of the difference but the way the pedals attache is the issue. E46 rod has an eye on it and the e36 has an open jaw. Guessing lots of people could figure it out easier than me but I know what I have works. Nothing leaked and strangely I did not have to use the Foxwell to activate the abs pump to bleed. Again think that was due to gravity. Biggest issue was getting the connectors right and a decent flaring tool. Used niccop line bought in bulk.
Any chance you want to sell or rent the flaring tool :-)

That was one of the issues I had with the Massive kit, and that hole had no bushing, and I think just a small bolt that was mounted in shear.

LOL gave them away to a mechanic. Will reach out to him. I bought one off amazon and it would not make the double flare as needed, Then I found these and the worked great.

    I bought from these guys:

I had a similar issue at Road Atlanta that put me into the gravel at T10, from 140, not 170.... I've been debating the same upgrade, but not sure I have the skills, knowledge or most importantly, the ambition to do it DIY...

Ended up ordering a Z3 3.0 booster/master cylinder from a DCS car since I am certain that will work. The e46 master is shorter in length that the e36 m3 master. No way to shim anything, would have to extend the internal booster rod to try to make that work.

I have not seen anyone that really sticks to the 6mm or 1/4" master to pump lines, everyone I see keeps 3/16" nicopp throughout. Assume thats not an issue given the stock feed from the master to the pump is 6mm line?

Pump mounting plan and rear line connection access below!

Anyone have a handy link for a Female to female 90 degree and 180 degree m10 x 1.0 coupler for connecting into my rear brake lines by chance?

When I installed the system I was blessed with a later year 328 which already had the 4 channel system in there. My swap parts came with the hoses from the donor car so I bent those bit to go from the master to the reducer fittings. The picture of the masters is what threw me off. When I installed the pedal was too high so that's when I made the spacers to move everything forward way from the firewall. Since I am just a d/e guy I did not want to mount the abs in the foot well as I often have students with me.
    Project is looking good!

    I'm 3/16's everywhere, no issues.

You could use a "T" and plug one end, to get 90 at least.

Perfect. Ordered Tee's and plugs and that should take car of that! Thanks for the heads up on the 3/16" feed to the pump, ordered M12 fittings for 3/16" nicopp. Also ordered the Tulays harness connector package and the Belkin shielded wire as well as a new set of crimpers to try and make a run at a decent DIY harness.

April 1st at NCM is the drop dead date to have functioning brakes......

    Good luck! Keep us updated.

FYI, I used this for all the flares, works pretty well in tight spaces.
A few practice flares to get the depth set perfectly, and I was good to go.

Another good source to find various metric plumbing is any vintage VW supplier as there is a ge market there and most bike shops that handle atv and dirt bikes as it is all metric.

Stupid question #101. I have a generic OBD port wired in for the GM PCM (3 wires, diag grd and power I think). Can I add the ABS Diag wire to this OBD diag port or do I need two separate OBD ports so as to not confuse the scan devices?

Not that stupid ... I'm sure the protocol has device IDs or something, but I actually don't know the answer ... Id be tempted to try it, and then wire separate plug if needed. I'll need this answer if I ever replace the tragically craptastic ABS in the corvette with an MK60

I'd love the answer too! I'm too chicken to try it until I get both working.

Stupid question #102. On the mk60 wiring diagram, pin 1 and pin 32 are both 14ga constant 30A fused power supplies. Can I run both of these feeds off of the same 30A fuse post or do I need two dedicated 30A fuses?

I ran 2, 20Amp fuses, and never blew a fuse. Now I'm driving those with my PDM, and do see a 0.3s spike current of 35Amp on one of the lines, and a 0.2s 10Amp spike on the other.

Finally got the widebody installed, lots of gaps to fill. I am going to have signature make the wheels but I want to check to see what tire sizes people have run with this kit and possible wheel width/offset. Any help would be appreciated. I am going to start working on the ABS soon now that I have the car back.

    Thanks,
    -Mike

hahah looks hilarious with those dinky wheels (they're probably not that dinky actually!)

You'll probably want 18x10 or 18x11 all around, with like 305/35/18 width tires to fill that space. And lower it, but make sure your geometry does not get hosed. That's a LOT of room!

Started on the ABS now and here are my results with trying the E46 pedal with the E46 M3 booster and E36 pedal bracket. The pin on the pedal that connects to the booster is not centered on the E46 pedal and the rod that connects the pedal to the booster is about 1" longer on the E46 M3 booster. I attached pictures of measurements for reference. I ordered a E46 pedal bracket and will see if it fits E36 and see if that works. Should have an update on that in a couple days when I receive it.

Do you have a preferred tire you are aiming to run?

That would be pretty cool if OEM E46 parts make this all work.
Is the diameter of the E46 M3 booster the same as the E36 M3 booster?

I've done this in our AER car. if you have any questions I'd be happy to help.

We used a 3.0 Z3 booster, mounted the MK60 next to booster. Installed StopTech BBK in all 4 corners with the Motorsport tune.

I did as well but my z3 3.0i booster/master had the built in pressure sensors.

Wish my cabin looked that nice Paddy lol....

Got all the E46 parts to fit. I am using a E46 M3 booster, E46 M3 Master Cylinder, E46 pedal mount and E46 brake pedal. I had to modify the bracket for the upper mounting point but other than that I think it should work! See all the pictures in my google drive here. Google Drive

Now I am going to work on the wiring and brake lines.

    Thanks,
    -Mike
