I have a 2004 e46 318i 4 door and i was wanting to get a set of angel eyes for it, what year headlights would i be looking for as ive seen on a few threads that they can varie between 99-06 depending on if it is either a coupe or not, any links to where id be able to buy either oem or aftermarket halos would be greatly appreciated also
Cheers in advance for any help!

You'd have to look for facelift sedan lights, made for 2002 production year and newer.
There were no OEM angel eyes ever produced for e46 body.

yeah re reading that asking for oem angel eyes was a bit dumb lol, but thank you for the advice/info!, time to start lookin
If you want the whole headlight, I think you should start in the aftermarket like DEPO or Hella. The replace the parking lamps with the angle eyes, I have seen ones like these still for sale: https://www.schmiedmann.de/de/bmw-E4...-pg998-catn-ol

Bought from Italy three years ago now. Depo and very good quality too but I can`t find the link from E-bay.
@ £225 ,electric and I have had no problems with them since fitting them.
They are not the brightest "eyes" but do look rather cool.
They are projector head lights and are "Very good" but do NOT use crap bulbs but only the best .
