Hi there,
First time poster! I have a 2008 528i and I am in the process of purchasing a battery. I was curious, what are the implications if I do not register the battery? I purchased a Diehard battery (non-agm) and plan to install in the near future. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. If you don't register your battery, it may not be charge properly by the car's electrical system, shortening its life. Especially if the previous battery WAS AGM.

If you install the same battery it had, you kost likely will not have any troubles, or replace the battery for a very long time given everything is maintained.
