need part number for ZF 4hp22 auto valve lever grommit

I'm working through adjusting the shifter cable, kickdown, etc., and when adjusting the "manual valve lever" noticed a rubber grommet has mostly crumbled away. The "manual valve lever" is on the left side of the transmission where the shift cable attaches to. The lever PN# is 24511216211 and is #24 on the realoem diagram.

The rubber grommet I'm in need of goes in the big round whole at the bottom of the lever. The grommet itself isn't listed or shown on any of the parts diagrams either on dealer parts sites or realoem. The lever is pretty expensive for what it is and I'm not sure it comes with a new grommet.

BMW probably does not sell it as single item, check with the online transmission parts stores in their ZF parts lists and order by ZF part number, example https://www.automaticchoice.com/uplo...ue/zf4hp22.pdf
When asking for the p/n tell them the detail on the trans sticker such as serial number, Stuecklistennummer = parts list number and type.

After a lot more searching I finally found an image of part 24511216211 and it includes the bushing/grommet that crumbled on mine. It looks like BMW have changed the material the bushing/grommet is made from, as on mine the material is black and the images I found of a new part show it as red. For reference PN# 24511216211 also matches to 24511215068. Interestingly the parts illustrations on realoem and dealer sites don't show the detail of including that integrated bushing, however the parts diagrams for later models such as e34/e31 do indicate that the selector lever inlcudes an integrated bushing. Hopefully this post will help someone in the future.
