Macht Schnell X-Pipe (with HFC's) Installed On E90 M3!

The E90 M3 finally got its first power modification! While I was at Precision Dynamics getting the ECS Tuning CSL Carbon Fiber Trunk installed, I made the last minute decision to get the X-Pipe installed as well. At first I wasn't sure how much the MS X-Pipe would change the sound and driving experience of the car, but I am super glad I got this installed! The M3 sounds so much better in the mid-range and top end while still retaining some of the filtering due to the HFC's. The revs are much more pronounced and aggressive now so I can only imagine how the system will sound once I get the M-Performance muffler installed on the car! Make sure to stay tuned for that since it'll be the next mod for the E90 M3

As with the other site, again, looks like a good install, but I would caution you against going with the MPE; it's not designed for HFCs or an X-Pipe. A much better choice would be a Dinan set-up. The MPE with an X-Pipe is very tinny and raspy. On a stock system it's perfect for me - Very hollow and echoey, and very BMW, with my MS inatke it's perfect. But it's pure rice with an X. JMHO, enjoy!
