Hello,
I had bought a FMIC off someone on the forums, but didn't realize I would need side inlets to fit with my chase bays rad.
My question is, is it worth it to have a welder mount inlets on the side and seal the rear? Or just sell it and get another one?

Personal opinion is sell it and find one that suits your needs. Could a good welder do the job? Sure, but by the time and money spent, I'd rather have one that I didn't have to have hacked and welded and possibly compromised.
Thanks for the advice, that's what I was thinking too.

I would say it's time to buy a welder and start learning. I mean you still have more piping to do anyway.
Depends, if it's an actual good core then just have a fab shop do it. It's trivial work really to change. If it's a cheapy IC core with questionable end tanks (rear inlet is horrible for flow as it is) then just get a nice IC and sell this one.
Ugh, I would totally love to learn how to weld my own stuff, but owning a welder in an already tight garage condoplex just isn't doable.
