    vibration under mid section progressively getting worse

    Vibration at mid level RPM at lower speed, seems like especially going uphill. Getting worse. Started a few days ago. Doesn't feel like engine bay but under mid section of the car - could be wrong... Doesn't seem to happen when I'm heavy on the RPM or higher speed, or driving like a granny but only mid range.

    158K miles. Any ideas? I can jack it up to take a look.

    I'm thinking it's the drive shaft flex joint so will take a shot at replacing that.

    Might also be the CSB. PITA to check.

    Center Support Bearing. Holds up the middle of the driveshaft. Buried under the exhaust and heat shield. Theoretically, it can't be serviced and you're supposed to replace the entire driveshaft. In reality a lot of guys do.
