Trunk divider for convertible top won’t stay up

I have a 2015 M4 convertible and am having trouble with the divider in the trunk that swings up and down to make room for the convertible top. It will lock in the down position, but will not stay in the raised position. If I raise it and drive, it will crash down. I’ve looked at it and can’t find if there’s a clip that keeps it locked up or if it is a small piston on either side. Has anyone had this issue and know how it can be fixed?
