Where to find the range of battery that fits my f07?

Good morning/after/evening,

I have a 530D GT, and recently I kept getting alarm saying the battery is discharging when stationary, or asking me to charge battery. I live in Australia, and as weather is getting warmer now, the alarm is less frequent as in winter a few months ago.

Question:
1. On experience, how long can you keep using the same AGM battery before it can be a serious no start issue? If I keep charging it when I can
2. I found this number from the battery itself (s 61 21 6 919 342) but I couldn't find this product online from any AU store; so are there any other battery that is equivalent to this one?

3. I got a quote from a local mechanic for a BOSCH LN5 AGM battery (92ah), is this a better or at least not worse one comparing to VARTA?

The image you posted above is a H8/49/LN5 class size battery

You can see the battery chart below that shows the specs like CCA/CA/RC (cold cranking amps/cranking amps/reserve capacity) as well as AH (amp hour). It also gives the length/width/height specs for the various battery class sizes.

This is an East Penn battery chart…other battery mfgs may have slightly different CA/CCA/RC/AH specs..but will pretty much the same. Just like an alkaline A/AA/AAA/C/D/9v battery is pretty much the same regardless of the brand…the specs are very similar. Some may have higher or lower specs in one or more category, but then may be higher in others…but overall the battery class sizes across all battery manufactures will be compatible…which is why you should shop by battery class size.
