Hello friends,

I've been restoring an E34 for the last year, and just purchased my next project - a 2008 6-speed M3 with 286K KMs (175K miles), 2 owners, 0 maintenance history and a clean carfax for a whopping $11K USD. Its definitely a bit of a beater, but I love a good challenge and plan on doing all the work myself (rod bearings included) in my tiny ass single car garage.

Wish me luck, happy to take any tips and advice from those who have replaced rod bearings yourselves.
