Lately when I start my 2007 530i I get a dashboard warning telling me the Time needs to be set. I go into the iDrive menu and set the time, select my preferred music and continue to my destination.
When I get back in the car, I again get the warning that the time is no longer set, my MPG reading in the trip computer that I have been monitoring is zeroed out, and the audio has defaulted to the radio from Aux or CD.
I reset the time and select my audio and continue on my way, only to have to go through this process again and again.
Anyone have a similar issue or have an idea what could be going on that is causing the computer to keep clearing the time, my trip data, and my audio settings?

Did you register the battery when it was installed?

What's the idle voltage (engine not yet started) after the car has been sitting for a while? Maybe parasitic draw
