Looking for the model for me that features the high hailed B58

I’ve decided to sway away from the E90 as my first BMW as the only ones I can find in my area are already touching high mileage such as 200+ KMs. I’ve decided to wait a bit longer to stretch out the budget for a newer BMW. Preferably one with the B58 that I hear about so much.

My budget will be $35K CAD.

I’ve already done some looking around and I like the idea of a 2017 340i. I’ve seen some used ones with a decent amount of KMs on it for around $28K-$33K before taxes and everything. Is this a good price range for these cars or would I be better off waiting another year for this stupid used market to relax.

Have I decided on a good option? Are there any other chassis that are around my budget or less that have the B58? How is the general maintenance on the engine in comparison to the one in the 335i on the E9X models?
