2000 E38 740il no sound

Ok, i have a problem I hope I can get some help with. I had my no sound diagnosed by BMW dealer. They told me there was no power from the amp. They want to me order a amp. I looked in my trunk, l/h side and found the amp. I ordered what I thought was the amp I needed. Was I wrong!!! My amp has 3 connectors. The one rec'd only has 2. The smallest of them, looks like it may be an antenna? There was nothing connected to it. I could not find anything to connect to it. It also appears that someone has been in there and a lot of new connectors and tape are there. Can someone help me? I know I bought the wrong amp. The one I need is of course more expensive. Before I go and spend money I don't have HELP!!!!!
