So i own an eu market 1993 bmw 316i sedan and i want keyless entry. I have done some research and my car has the alarm light above the shifter, so i would assume it has the module for the alarm/keyless entry already installed. I am not sure about this as so far all i have read is about obd2 us market cars that then use the 2 button key fob. I read somewhere that for older models, you need the older 3 button key fob, i think its this one: https://www.ebay.nl/itm/155034354186...Bk9SR5q29r6WYQ
Does anyone know if i can buy this key fob and then program it to my car using the opening trunk, turning key, etc method?
I have attached a picture of what is behind my glove box, in case anyone knows if the module is there or not.
If I were you I would use aftermarket instead of 30yo junk.

I used this aftermarket setup on 3 E36's, works fine: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...=keyless+entry
