I’ve noticed since installing a new throttle cable and the dinan throttle body this summer that when the car is initially started at cold, a light press to the throttle causes the revs to drop, almost to the point of a stall. Further engagement causes the revs to build naturally. After a minute or so of driving the issue goes away completely and there is no drop. I retained my original TPS and did a full clean on the ICV. The car idles just fine and there are no codes. Any thoughts? Fuel issue? Air issue? Tune?

Try checking the throttle plate adjustment.
1. Is the throttle fully closed without depressing the accelerator?
2. Is the throttle opened a full 90 degrees & not over-center at full throttle? Throttle plate must be accurately centered in the bore at full throttle.
Usually you'll get a "check engine" light if the throttle plate is much out of adjustment, but it should be checked.
