New to me 85 745i needs help with missing wastegate and fuel pump

Since both items are NLA, what are my options? I am open to creative engineering and mods. I read that Hitman X is the guy to talk to about a Tial wastegate made to fit the 745i. Hopefully he will chime in and let me know.

For the in tank fuel pump, is there a way to eliminate it and use external inline fuel pump(s) instead? What do you do to close the opening of the missing in tank fuel pump? I have tried regular E23 fuel pumps and they don't fit the 745i fuel tank.

    Thanks

    Thumbs up

I did a Carter P76800 in the last 100L Euro fuel tank for a 745i, worked fine for a lift pump. Some guys do a 255lph intank and remove the inline, that works too. Inlines are all the same at 130lph area, most of us do a Walbro or the like 255lph inline. Replace all the fuel lines back there, I think the sender to inline is 16x20 the rest are 8x13. The breather is around 6x10 and 8x13, you need a lot for that.

These also vent to the atmosphere right off the tank, no charcoal canister.

Yah I make drop in Tials, I have two ways. One with a core and one without. With core uses OE base and OE valve, more stealthy. The other works fine.
    I make E23 parts.

Ford, MB, and GM round out the pack.

Send me an email with the info for the Tials. I don't know how many posts is needed for access to PM. My email is the same as my username at geemail. I may be able to buy a stuck stock wastegate, would that work as a core? Thanks
