I have a '22 M340; the summer tires are the 19" Michelin Pilot Sports, with the staggered setup.
For winters, I've squared up 18" Pirellis.
Always been a tire pressure geek; check everything in the house, first of the month, and the electronic readings from time to time.
My doorpost sticker says 38psi the whole way around, and that's what I've been using (and yeah, I fudge for the difference in temperature for outside our 45* garage)
Since changing to the winters (and wading thru' three menus to reset system), I've been checking the pressures more frequently, and seem to be getting different required pressures; maybe 37 front, 39 rear.
I'm more curious than worried; anyone else run into this, and what pressures do you run?
Thanks,
Dan
The door jamb sticker may default to full load, high speed (sustained 100+ mph that you can’t really do in the US). Check the owner’s manual for alternative settings. May also be in the idrive.
The idrive is where I was seeing the alternate tire pressures suggestions.

Too many variables to be able to say what pressure is recommended for your vehicle. Sidewall stiffness, tread hardness, camber, etc. etc. etc. etc.
If you're that much of a tire pressure geek then you likely know this. Each vehicle/tire combination will require dialing in to determine optimum pressure. Use your geekiness tendencies and do just that; dial it in.
I current run 38 psi all around on my e39 with Michelin AS3+. The previous continental DWS06, which sucked for me but many love, required 40 psi to run remotely smoothly and not feel squirrely when hitting the off ramps etc. I could never get them balanced after many tries at multiple locations. 40 psi was the compromise.
