'01 3.0 Developed lighting issues after rainstorm- LCM replaced and still 'not found'

Hi All,
My e53 had the front windows left open during a rain storm. The footwells had some water in them and the seats got wet. This was a New England storm not a hurricane, but a fair amount of rain overnight. I dried everything up and locked a dehumidifier in the car for a few days.
Since then (about 6 months ago), my reverse lights dont work, turn signal indicators on the instrument cluster dont flash and theres no audible blinker gong. Last week I was driving in the rain and my headlights and brake lights stopped working. After I got home I put the dehumidifier in the car overnight (no leaks but to help with the humidity), and when i drove it the next day the blinker indicators and gong worked for a little bit.
I tried to access the LCM via BMW SCANNER1.4 and it shows NOT FOUND. So I bought a used LCM off eBay, swapped it in, and no change, same light issue, still LCM NOT FOUND.
I'm guessing theres a short somehwere? an oxidized connection perhaps? Originally I thought a Fuse but given that it worked briefly on its own...
Any suggestions where to look next?
