Advice needed for diagnosing short circuit in my car

Hi bimmers,

My car is a 2010 BMW 535i and I love it. However, recently I found my battery draining when car is off and the signal of "battery discharge" shows when it starts. I suspect there is a short in the electrical system. When the car is off, I hear some weird ticking noise on the front passenger side and feel something flowing in the water hose connected to the oil filter housing. I need some advise on how to detect and fix it.
