Checking to see if anyone is experiencing this. In July of 2021, I purchased Dinan intakes for my 2012 750i M. This purchase was over $2,000; like most Dinan parts. Here we are in November of 2022 and still no part. Every time I speak with them, they are waiting for a part. At one time they were waiting on etching. This is beyond ridiculous! I’m no engineer but this has to be one of the most straightforward parts to manufacture. Am I the only one dealing with this?
Any insight or direction will be greatly appreciated.
Ask for your money back... Dinan is also kind of a rip off especially these days as Steve Dinan doesn't even own or work at the company anymore

The 750i part is probably a really low volume item. M5 would be much higher volume. I waited several months this year for my F90 M5 turbo inlets. I probably will have waited 6 months before the Dinan rear toe kit arrives. Dinan has experience supply and quality issues. I am happy it cares about the quality. It can’t do much about the supply. Obviously these parts are made far away, probably China.
You can cancel your order and look for some other company that makes a similar part.
They have supply problems, but they have no problems taking your money.
Usually Dinan will tell you there is a delay and give you the option of canceling your order and getting a refund. Some of their resellers do as well (ECS/turner), while others keep your money and tell you nothing (danaport/mbgram). But if no competitors are making the product, maybe you are willing to wait.
