I installed LED angel eye bulbs… DRL warnings…

I installed LED H8 bulbs in the angel eyes of my 2010 E60 (one went out and I was tired of the yellow)

I used BimmerCode to program them so I wouldn’t get the warning (LED angel eyes:Active) but when I drive I’m getting left or right DRL bulb out warnings… (it varies between left and right)

the lights are on and functioning BTW and I know the warning is because they don’t have the same resistance as halogen… but I thought programming the ECU for LED would compensate for that

is there something I may have done wrong? Everything seemed pretty self-explanatory

Have you tried Osram FL H8?
I think some cheapo’s won’t work well even with coding.
And Bimmercode is not always that good unfortunately

I’ll look into that… the bulbs I got look great, but they were ‘on the cheaper side’… now that I’ve gotten them, I’d rather pay the extra to NOT have the car give me warnings every 15-20 minutes
