In need of a tool to hold the Crankshaft on a 2013 N20 from the front... Engine is out of car and on a stand and for the life of me, I can't find anywhere on the internet, a counter holder to hold the crank from the front. I tried ebay and found what looked like the correct tool but they sent me the flywheel lock. I know about the flywheel holder that you would use if the engine is in the car. I have one but it won't work with engine removed from transmission. Any ideas? Thanks.
Not sure about the front, but if the flex plate (flywheel) is still on the engine and the engine is on a stand then bolt a piece of steel to it. If the flex plate is off, bolt it to the crank.

Use an impact gun and not bother holding anything.
If you must hold, use a chain wrench on an old crank pulley.
