Hi everyone, new member to Bimmerforums and looking for some help to source a right front cv axel replacement or rebuild for my 88 IX. Not having any luck searching in Western Canada. Does anyone have a lead I can followup on?
Thanks, Doug
I have no idea where to source one. If you have one in any shape at all, these guys may be able to help. https://www.cvjreman.com/
I've used them for a number of different jobs and have always been happy with their work.

I know I have two extra CV axles that came with my ix. I've been hoarding them for a just in case scenario, but if I have a front right I'd like to help get another ix on the road. Sorry to post before confirming what I have... I'll check later today.
A quick search I found these in eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/23474078302...mis&media=COPY. I do have them, but I'd ask for more money given how hard they can be to find and the pair I have are in bad shape. I would be cheaper than this set on eBay. I do wonder what a quote would be from the shop Richard suggested though? I mean if they were available a oem would run over $1k for one side! Good luck! This is my fear for my ix
