E36 HKS GTS8550 Help

Long story short I am deep down the rabbit hole. I purchased a used SC kit for my 97M3. The kit is an older active Autowerke kit which came with the HKS GTS8550 blower. I had the kit installed after much work of locating and purchasing the missing pieces from active. Now the car is at the tuner and they find out the blower is blown. I have called everywhere across the country and even reached out to active in an effort of finding a shop that rebuilds this blower and I’ve come up empty.
I was praying someone on here may have some insight or know someone who rebuilds this blower.
Any help would be appreciated.

I tried contacting nengun via email. They don’t respond. I sent a message on IG, they answered saying to email them. I responded back stating I already did. Do you have any experience with them?

No but they appear to be the best place to go. HKS is a Japanese company and has never had much footprint in the US. I would rather pay once to get the blower rebuilt right than maybe twice. There is a company here called supercharger rebuilds that seems to have a mixed track record with planetary gear drive blowers that probably use some proprietary hard to source parts. You are deep into this hole now and others have been before you with AA Rotrex kits. Always consider servicing when buying complex and rare parts. In the end you probably would have been able to turbo the motor for what you will have in supercharging it.

I also tried supercharger rebuilds and they weren’t able to assist. Right now it does seem like I will have to send the unit overseas which is fine, I would just like to confirm with the company that they can do the rebuild first. Thanks for your help.

There is a member here named Shogun who posts a lot in the E36 forum and lives in Japan. Maybe he knows someone who knows about HKS stuff.
