Curbside mirror not working

7/95 build dat 525i 5s manual passenger mirror not tilting down in reverse. Mirror switch is in correct position mirror doesnt move when put in reverse. I searched threads and wasnt able to find any info. Does the 5s manual even have this option?

That only works if your car has seat and mirror memory system with the control module under the driver seat like in my E32 750iL, there are sensors under the seat for the seat, backrest etc positions, completely different system to normal electric seats and electric mirrors, also the mirror wire looms are different.

That explains it then. My e34 doesn’t have seat or mirror memory. Is there any simple way to add seat and mirror memory so my mirror tilts?
