E34 wiper blades

Hello everyone.
My e34 1989 525i wiper blades needs to be changes. I have a difficulty here in my country i can't find the bosch wipers that are specific for the e34. The only option is some aftermarket ones that are not high quality. Is there anyway to have other type of wipers? What about the e39 ones? Do they fit? I don't want to install bad wipers cause i hate hearing the squeaky sound and seeing water marks left on the windshield. What do you guys recommend? Any solution?

Just buy the wiper blade rubber for the wipers and install them, done in 10 minutes and cheaper.

I will buy a complete wiper blade for this. I will get a bosch wiper but is there any specific one to get? I mean bosch eco/aerotwins... and the right side is a normal wiper right? Any wiper work?

More difficult to find the correct one. First of all check in the ETK and on your car if both wipers have the same length or not. Some E34 - depending on country version, built year and wiper pressure system or not- have different length and different wiper hook directions.

I got the driver side with the j-hook, that's why i am having difficulties finding it. the passenger side is a normal wiper blade and it's not the problem, the driver's side is the problem. If I get a Bosch icon blade can I remove the blade from it and install it on the original wiper instead of the old blade? my main question is which blade should I get as a filler to replace the old one? Because I can't have a good quality refill blade I should get a full blade to do the [process but i need the correct one. My driver side is 24" will any wiper blade work as a refill?

depends what wipers you have at the moment installed. Look at the profile of the wiper rubber and compare it with a Bosch Icon rubber profile.

Hello everyone, i want to ask if the e34 left wiper arm can be changed to an e60 or a newer car. Because i can't find in my country brand new bosch or high quality wiper blades. So if it is possible please let me know.

maybe no one has done such mod, you have to compare first the basics in realoem, for example the nut sizes for your E34 wiper arm are here http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E3...rts#9922856_19 compare it with E60 + other cars, then you have to check the length and shape of the wiper arms, do they match the E34 front window glass shape?
I would suggest: to avoid trouble, in case the original parts are not available in your country, buy them original from overseas and install E34 parts on your E34.
I use for my E32 since many years after market quality wiper blades bought from the internet and they work as good as the Bosch

I have over priced Bosch wipers, paid over $100 for the pair. When the blades rubber wears out, I am looking to replace the blade inserts with some silicon blade inserts, that last 10x longer and performs way better than rubber. See these silicon inserts being sold online for around $10 or less
