FCP and my local BMW dealer are saying the part number is backordered in the 1k's with no ETA. Is anybody aware of a US source with stock - bmw dealer or parts supplier? My assembly falls further apart every time I touch it. I'm trying to avoid going the Home Depot route but won't have much of a choice if I can't find the assembly.

Both AutohausAZ and Amazon say they have 61668361041 in stock. Low stock, but as of this typing they say they have it. schmiedmann too, but they're not in the US. Nothing but positive experiences with them in my limited dealings though.

Remember there are two versions of the Windshield Washer hose systems. With and w/o intensive (the EXTRA small washer fluid tank under the hood). Two hoses to the nozzles or One.
Buy a new hood insulator/sound deadener pad while your are working under there. Makes the car look new.

My washer nozzles quit working a few months ago. I saw washer fluid streaming from under the hood insulation. Removed the hood insulation and the tubing crumbled at the slightest touch. I just replaced with hose and moved on. I don't understand the hesitation with fixing it with other than OE parts???
Sidebar: I replaced the nozzles several years ago with e60 nozzles as I read that was a significant upgrade from the e39 nozzles. So not true. My Kia Optima (recently traded) had better windshield nozzles than the expensive BMW nozzles. I was so underwhelmed!!!

I had some Honda windshield washer hose laying around from other vehicles and used that when the E39 hoses crumbled. It's better than the crap BMW used in the first place, and I just reused the various barb fittings.
I'm looking for this washer hose assembly if anyone knows where I can find one: 61-60-8-364-209
A great ending is all you'll see..

All you need is 4mm inside diameter washer hose, some generic plastic tee fittings and zip ties. I would not wait for BMW to make more of these. Fixed mine perfectly
yup. If they crack right at the fitting you can even use a small piece of adhesive heatshrink tubing to fix. Can't even tell the difference once its done. Otherwise, 4mm ID tubing works great too.
Do yourself a favor and install e60 windshield washer nozzles while you are in there. They work much better than the e39 ones. Cheap at pick n pull.
Just went to the hose drawer, found some of that clear 4mm line with the
diamond woven thread embedded in it(probably from an E21) and spliced it back together.
EEM!

Then I cleaned out the nozzles with the tip cleaning files for the oxy torch.
And re- aimed them. They're pretty good now.

Nice! Thanks for that! Both nozzles were replaced as part of my restoration b/c the old ones were brittle and the shop wasn't able to pull them off the hood without breaking the locking tabs. I've been tweaking the aim since then and still not happy with the results.
No they don't, they still suck. The e60 nozzles are almost as bad as the e39 nozzles. the only real "upgrade" is that there is an additional, weak stream of washer fluid to the extreme left and extreme right. So not worth the pain an aggravation. (Read posts #4 and #6).
Wasn’t there a revised version of the E60 nozzles? I know I read about one a long time ago.

But I don’t know why so many whine about the E39 nozzles, if they are aimed properly, they work just fine.

I have found using this works better than than wearing out the blades.
Tip Clean out the nozzles with a pin and the washer bucket from all the crap that is in there. Rinse with30/60 Clorox/water, and rinse with fresh water. Pull pumps and clean/replace the screens. Can't pump through dirt
