Stress cracks in the cylinder head?

I have these cracks in almost every cylinder. I thought I'd see them in the water jackets, but, they are almost in the same spots on each chamber.

    Has anyone seen these before?

Interestingly enough, some people are saying that they are not cracks but lines from a machining process. I'm taking the head to the machine shop this weekend to see what they think.

The cracks I've experienced occurred between the valves (and can show up between valves and water jackets)
