Hi, i took my ECU out from my e36 m52b20 1996. I have problem with ECU i cannot fully read ECU. I know that my ECU is one of few that have blocked reading (I'm getting error on 69% 0x02c000 Request denied by ecu).
Is there any way that i can bypass this error?

Does your ECU have a tune on it that was readlocked by someone?
Or is it the first variant that didn't have flashable memory?

I can read 24kb but I can't read it fully.
I didn't tried to write on it because i want to make copy of stuff on it

I had to updated ECU software using WinKFP, now i can read full 256kb

Wow, do you think the previous flash had a readlock, or maybe the software used was incompatible with that older firmware?
