GPS Positioning deactivated

Trying to use the My BMW App and when I try to use VEHICLE FINDER I get this message

Enable Vehicle's GPS
GPS positioning is deactivated in
your vehicle. I am missing the manual that explains this , can anyone tell me the key strokes to accomplish this?

“To use mobility
functions, please activate GPS
positioning in your vehicle's
Settings menu. Further information
can be found in your vehicle
Owner's Manual.
UNDERSTOOD”

I don’t know the answer but…all of the info in any manual that would have come with the car is BUILT into iDrive. In fact, it is more specific than the paperback versions (which is written to cover every possible build specification). The manual built into iDrive is vehicle specific and has multiple ways of searching. Probably using “GPS” as a keyword search will bring up info…and if you need to change or make a selection…it would be covered.
