turn signal switch

I have a 1978 733i euro that I need a new turn signal switch for ... I think. The switch works to switch from hi to low beam but will not do either left or right turn signal lights. Also the emergency flasher works. I ordered a turn signal switch that came from Latvia and the switch looks the same and fits on the steering column but the two electrical connectors are way different than what is on my car. Any help in finding a switch that has the two male plugs that match what is under the dash on my car would be appreciated.
