Selling a 1995 328iA Touring Madeira Violet Metallic with a black interior.
This is a left-hand-drive, German-spec wagon that was imported from Holland earlier in 2022. Titled in Georgia, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its odometer displays about 234,400 kilometers, which represents approximately 145,600 miles.
Aux fan recently replaced. Runs and drives nicely. Transmission shifts firmly in all 3 settings. AC works great in the Georgia heat. Has rear parking sensors, which are pretty trick for an E36. Ready to be a daily driver as is.

Is the car DOT certified? ‘Just wanna make sure before I make an offer.
I believe cars over 25 years old can be imported without any conditions imposed by DOT.
I know very little about CA emission rules but I would expect a 95 to be easier to pass then a 96+ because there was no OBD2 port on 95 cars. So wouldn't you just need to pass a sniffer test? This car has the original cats and runs great so it would probably pass.
Any rust? Has it been repainted?

There are 3 coin sized sections of rust: the rear drivers wheel arch, the right side nose panel edge, and under the fuel filler surround gasket. They would be easily fixable. Underneath there is nothing more then surface rust in a few locations. It is very well preserved compared to the many other E36 tourings I have imported.
I believe the front end was painted somewhat recently but it could've been the entire car.
The google photos album in the original post has over 100 pictures of the car including the underside.

When I get my X5 sold I would totally be down to buy one of these , but it must be a manual. How many have you imported anyway because I've seen A LOT of them lately ? I'd prefer one with cloth interior (more Euro spec feel ) I wonder how much you are getting these for as I would imagine the importing process to be at least a few thousand dollars. The E36 wagon bodystyle looks so good to me. It would be cool to put or find one with an S50B30/S50B32 Euro Engine in one with an M3 LSD. Im in Alabama and would like to come check one of these out.
I've imported and sold 10 E36 tourings now. Don't have anymore currently. Check carsandbids.com theres another importer in Georgia selling them.
