Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Team,
My 95 525i has an issue I need help with.
The OBC has been inoperative for quite a while. It would not light up at all.
My radio has now developed the same issue. It is completely black. No lights and no antitheft, NOTHING. I am getting a "check control" message on the cluster. I have checked all fuses, including the radio fuse behind the radio.
Could a bad check control module cause all this? Any and all thoughts are greatly appreciated.
My E32 has a hidden fuse under the driver side rear seat frame, next to the fuse box under rear seat, that is for OBC and drive away protection, Code in OBC etc, see here http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/236235/
Check the E34 wiring diagram, I assume that E34 have the same.
Did you check the bulbs in the OBC? http://www.nmia.com/~dgnrg/page_36.htm
Use a flash light and hold it in an angle onto the display to check if you see something

Hello
First work check this relay,
You can find it under the back seat.

If you don't find it, you have to put a wired bridge as in the picture,

The second work is to go to the OBC and take it out, you will find 3 lights to check whether it is working or not

Finally the holidays in OBC
I faced the same problem in the past
devid M50, the last picture from you shows the normal fuses circled in red under the rear seat, the fuse for the OBC and drive away protection is located in a different location under the rear seat, not in the rear fuse box, but nearby hidden under the base of the rear sear driver side, see the pics here http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/236235/
OBC bulbs: the older OBC III has 4 bulbs, the newer OBC IV has 3 bulbs, also the specification for the bulbs is different.
OBC III 4x 65811374495 6.5 volt, 0.8 watt up to Sep '87
OBC IV 3x 62111368299 12 volt, 1.2 watt

shogun, The last picture is of the radio fuse.
based on US ETM radio fuse is #18 in front box next to the engine under the hood, fuses 30-49 are under rear seat, details see page 0670.0-01 https://shark.armchair.mb.ca/~dave/BMW/e34/e34_95.pdf

Team,
I have no blown fuses. Check under back seat too. Replaced the Check Control Module and the OBC. Still no go!
Radio still dead. I checked the fuse at back of the radio just to make sure. VERY FRUSTRATED
@silver7sport: accdg to your profile you have an 2000 E38 740i sport, better post your problem in the E38 forum, E34 and E38 are quite different.
