Looking for DIY info on replacing passenger side cupholder in my 2008 E83. I want to remove it and replace with a cupholder cover

"I want to remove it and replace with a cupholder cover"... but the cup holder is already there?
After reading a second time a day later...i think i understand.
Doesn't take too much strength but a lot of gentle wiggling and finessing...the thing is brittle at this point....I've removed several.
All while pulling gripping the sides... It'll finely let go!
