Music off USB

Hi Guys,

I have a BMW 320d 2015 model. I have plugged in my USB to play music but some of the music folders don't appear. Is there a format I need to have to ensure the music plays? Does it make a difference if I save the Music to the cars memory storage?

Also regarding the DAB+, is there an upgrade or some kind refresh to find new channels etc?

The memory stick/thumb drive needs to be formatted fat32. The albums can’t be in sub folders. Some music formats will not work. As an example, songs as FLAC files versus mp3 files.

Thanks for the info. I find i listen to DAB more but sometimes it drops out saying "no signal". Very annoying.

Which radio/head unit do you have?

My head unit is what came with the car. Not sure how to give model number etc
