    new buyer, help

Thinking I need a E93 after driving a prius for 9 yrs. What should I look for? Pre-sale inspection?

Low miles. Lots of options. If you lean to the turbo models, 335, you want the single turbo, not the twin turbo. If you can find the Sport Seats, they are better than the not-sport seats. I'm a huge Don't Care on the paddle shifts, but I like the manual transmission that is all but impossible to find in the non-turbo cars. If you can find a 6-spd, and you know how to work it, it would be my first choice. I settled for an '08 two years ago with only 67,000 miles, that's a really good find. The few manual transmission cars were mostly in the turbo cars, and with the price point I was looking for, they were the twin-turbo cars.

So you have two motors, the N-54 Twin Turbo and the N-55 Single turbo. There was a split, LCI (Live Cycle Impulse) is the later model that has the N-55 and is also called the facelift.

A PPI is a must, you can use that to bring the price down. Also I am the kind of person who doesn't like run-flats, but these cars no longer have spare tires anymore.

No Spare. What were they thinking? I have a 19" wheel package (Style 220) with staggered fitment, and no spare.

Weight savings I would guess. It's been a long time since I've had a flat, but that's beside the point, I want a spare just in case. The wife F-45 didn't come with one, so I took one out of an E-60 along with the center tool foam and put that in the trunk for her.

Just carry a tire plug kit and a 12V air pump. Tire punctures and failures are rare.

Adding a spare leaves you with half a trunk. Not worth it. We have a 2008 Wagon and 2009 Coupe, and carry the plug kit and pump in both.

True, but the F-45 had some storage space the exact size for a compact spare funny enough. Now in the Kid's F-20, there is a tire pump and goo that goes into the tire to get them home, aka fix-a-flat.
