Z4 2003 door locks not working

    2003 Z4 2.5
When I press key fob button to unlock door, both locks fire up and down 3 times and remain locked.
Drivers side door will only open using the key, but passenger door won't open.
I thought issue could be the actuator, but then read another issue could be the GM5 module.
I don't have issues with power windows, trunk release or wipers so is it safe to say GM5 is not the issue and I should probably have both door actuators replaced?
If so, would this be the correct part?

I used the above about 8 weeks ago......great, unreal service.

My bet is on your GM5 since it's both doors. Does your central locking system work, is your gas cap cover unlocking?

I'm having a mental-block on how to unlock the fuel door since I haven't used the Z4 in some time.
Does the fuel door unlock when doors are auto-unlocked? If so, the fuel door does not open.

Gas cap cover failing to unlock = GM5

The door actuators have zero connection with the gas door. The GM5 is the master controller.

I already sent you the link for the website to have the GM5 repair. Send him an email, it took him 10 days to respond to my email (he has about 100 emails a day)

I took my GM5 out on a Sunday, mailed it to him about 12 noon on Monday from Pennsylvania and on Friday the repaired GM5 was in my mailbox (from California). I installed it on Saturday and all the locks worked perfectly.

    Totally, totally unreal good service.

I will reach out to GM5, thanks! How do you normally unlock the gas door?

I generally don't know if the gas flap is locked or not. I assume it locks when you lock the car with the fob. When my GM5 was going out it sort of went out in steps. 1st neither door would unlock with the fob, but the key would open the driver's door and the passenger door would unlock and open with the inside handle. Then the central control inside the car would sometime not work. The next step was the passenger door would not unlock and open with the handle inside the car. Within days of noticing the passenger door not unlocking I noticed the gas flap was locked. I should note that when removing the GM5 you unhooked the battery from the car. After unhooking the battery, I tried to open both the passenger door and the gas flap and neither would open.
