Hello everyone, been lurking around for a while and this is my first post.
Recently I was doing some work on my E36 M43 engine, mostly general maintenance, cleaning the sensors and starting work on the fuel rail. I have the vehicle for about 4 years, and from things I've read and saw, my engine falls in the small category of BMW engines that used a smaller sized injectors, and finding a replacement is pretty tough.
I remember seeing spacers that raise the whole fuel rail a notch, in order to allow the standard sized injectors to be used. My question lies here, on which injector types should I use with my M43B18 engine, and if there is an aftermarket solution available right now, or should I just machine my own spacers?
Any more tips would be more than welcome.
Rockauto has them, they are remanufactured.
Have you ever used injector cleaner? They do work, try 3 bottles over 3 tanks, use a different brand each time.

Diesel fluid?
I doubt your injectors are ruined. Obviously get all the old fluid out and run injector cleaner over 3 tanks.
