Hi,
I have just connected the Avin avant 4 player, speakers in the front doors with amplifier and sub woofer with its own amplifier.
I connected the battery, turned the ignition, then there was a loud noise coming from te back/trunk sound that I felt got louder and louder. Then turned the ignition off and took the key out then it went away when the player turned off.
I have no idea what could be wrong or where to start.
Anyone have any tips/advice on the problem?

Hi,
Take the unit out of the car, put on a bench power supply and connect a speaker up and test again. If there's no noise, then there's something wrong with your car's wiring, be that the oem wiring or the new wiring for the amp and then to the speakers. If there's still the same noise, you likely have a faulty Avin unit - which isn't surprising given they're just generic grade electronics inside ! At that point, contact Avin and get your money back (once you ship it back to the USA at your expense according to the last I read on their website T&C's) and buy a high quality and reliable Kenwood/Alpine/Pioneer/Sony head unit instead !
Cheers, Dennis!
