    Question Self initiated SOS calls

Hello all! So I made the switch and have purchased my first BMW and so far my 335is cabriolet has impressed me. I have one annoying issue and am hoping to find a bit of guidance.
Everytime I start my car the system initiated an SOS call. This does not result in an error message or symbol, which seems to be the focus of all post I've read through
The screen shows at the top Calling SOS and in middle of the screen it shows my coordinates. This last for about 2 minutes and results in a message that the call failed. It never actually connects with anyone. While it's placing it's call I cannot access any other parts of menu and once the call fail message comes up everything works normally.
I have no phone or Bluetooth issues and have had the same symptom every time I start the car regardless if my phone is present. I have even removed it from device list.
It's not a major issue but it's maddening none the less.
Can anybody point me in the right direction here? Thanks
