    E60 530D fule issue

    Hello, i bought a 530d 2004 m57b30 that canīt start .. i have done some testing and now come to a bit of a standstill, and not just wanting to throw parts at it iīm seeking a bit of help. i have scanned the car for errors and getting the "rail pressure control valve, activation" error as the only relevant error ( i guess) i tried unplugging the sensor in the back of the rail, no difference, unplugged the front rail senor, no difference. the only thing i find strange is that the LPFP is continuously running (trying to build pressure i assume) and if you look in ista it there's no pressure, but if i pinch the return line after the HPFP it builds some pressure around 4 bars. but i still cant get it to fire up if i try cranking when the line is pinched. but i guess there's a issue in the HPFP, or could the volume control valve on the HPFP be stuck full open allowing the fuel to run straight back to the tank?

    Whats the next logical step?
    What pressure do i need while cranking ? (got around 40 bar)
    Should i try cranking it some more when the return line is pinched to see if the HPFP builds pressure, could be some air after the pump since it just runs up to the HPFP and pack to the tank when its not pinched of?
    The LPFP is brand new.

    Hope someone can help, have been a lot on google not getting a good answer.

    Problem solved!! was injector 1 leaking fuel out of the return line on top.... stupid mother fucker
