2004 M3 Correct Spark Plug

I'm being told that the NGK DCPR8EKP spark plug has been superceded by NGK 97181 DCPR8EIX SOLID Iridium IX Spark Plug.

This is for a 2004 M3. NGK's site states that it fits my car, but the plug probably fits my lawnmower too. Any input?

My two suppliers both show the DCPR8EKP only.

I called the dealership. They require a 'VIN number' before they can check on stock.

NAPA said they had only two in the entire state. O'Reilly can get a set from Oahu in 24 hours.

NAPA and O'Reilly are outrageous for spark plugs. How much do they want? List is $29 each, I can get them for about $11.30. Might be worth you waiting. I could send them off on Thursday.

To wrap this up publicly, O'Reilly's is getting $15.99 +our 4.167 tax, so $100 for the set. I'll see these by 10AM tomorrow.
