Is my dealer lying to me?

Hi,

Six months ago while my 330 GT was under warranty the dealer stated I needed new brake pads. This was at the time of routine maintenance fulfilled under the service plan. In any case I remember being in their office while fees were being discussed and asked them isn’t this covered under my warranty and the guy looked shocked when I asked and had to admit it was covered and booked an appointment to have them replaced but later that day the agent calls me and says unfortunately my thread wear isn’t there yet to be covered by warranty and the whole thing gets canceled. Fast forward to today my bmw app is telling me I need new brake pads and no longer have warranty. Were they pulling a fast one?

Well, I think the first person you talked to, who said the brake pads were covered, was wrong.

There is an asterisk next to that, with a note about Maintenance Program Upgrade. So, it may be possible to pay for a maintenance upgrade that would include the brake pads, so check and see if you have/had that upgrade.
