    Clock spring problems

Hi when I bought my car it came with an OMP steering wheel which basically blocked all view of the dash. The car also came with the stock wheel and I am currently installing the stock one. However when it came to changing the clock spring to the new wheel I found that it was broken beyond repair. I am planning on replacing it but for the mean time I should be fine to drive it without it installed. I was already missing my horn and airbag so I think I should be fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had my wheel off once and I think I got lucky with reinstalling the clock spring. IIRC, I just wound it around the spool and put it back in. It worked fine from the get go. Some people have struggled with it.

As for driving without a horn or airbag, that's your call.
