Working on my e90, I have ISTA. I have the cable with the ethernet adapter, however my computer does not have that port. Therefore I’m using a USB to ethernet adapter. I’ve been trying to get the program to scan however it’s not communicating with the car. I have tried different settings for connecting with the interface type, even tried to uninstall the usb to ethernet adapter. Any tips on how to set this up?

E chassis does not use ENET/Ethernet.. get the right cable. ENET is for F-chassis and newer.
You need a quality K-DCAN with a switch (depending exactly what month/year your car is produced).
